Electronic Audio Reserves

Listening assignments for some music classes are available online. Electronic Audio Reserves (EAR) are available to all Mansfield University students, faculty, and staff.

 

Please login with your Mansfield campus username and password.

Login to the Electronic Audio reserve by using your email username. Your password is the same as your email password.
* - If you have an "@mounites.mansfield.edu" email account, you must use your INITIAL password that was provided when you activated your account. If you are not sure what this password is, check here to retrieve it.

 
Requirements
  1. You must be a Mansfield University student, faculty, or staff.
  2. Your computer must have a sound card and headphones or speakers.
  3. Your computer must have Windows Media Player or RealPlayer. Download Windows Media Player or Download RealPlayer.
  4. Javascript, cookies, and pop-up windows must be enabled.
Technical Help

Keep hearing the same track over and over even though you select a new one?
You need to change some of your internet browser settings. Here is how:

  • Internet Explorer:
    1. Tools Menu
    2. Internet Options
    3. Under the "Temporary Internet Files" heading, click on "Settings..."
    4. Make sure "Every visit to the page" is selected and click ok.
  • Netscape:
    1. Edit Menu
    2. Preferences...
    3. Click on the arrow next to "Advanced"
    4. Click on "Cache"
    5. Make sure "Every time I view the page" is selected and click ok.

System Requirements

  • Windows users:
    • Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows ME or Windows 98 (Windows 95 not supported)
    • Internet Explorer 5 or higher is recommended. Netscape 7 and Mozilla browser are compatible. (Earlier versions of Netscape and other browsers are not supported)
    • Windows Media Player 9 or RealPlayer One are recommended. Windows Media Player 7 or above and RealPlayer 7 or above are compatible.
  • Mac users:
    • Windows Media Player for Mac or RealPlayer for Mac are required.
    • EAR is not 100% compatible with Macs.
  • Linux/UNIX Users:
    • Linux and UNIX operating systems are not supported, however a combination of a current Mozilla browser and RealPlayer for Linux/UNIX may produce successful results.
