Library patrons under the age of 16 who are not Mansfield University students must be accompanied by someone age 18 or older when visiting North Hall Library. Unaccompanied underage patrons may be asked to leave or library staff may contact the Mansfield University police to report their non-supervised status. Exceptions may be made for children participating in school- or university-sponsored programs and activities.
No one under the age of 18 is allowed to use the community access computers unless they are under the supervision of a parent, a teacher, or a guardian. Please note that the library is not responsible for monitoring what Internet sites patrons under 18 years of age may be viewing; this is the responsibility of the accompanying adult.
Patrons under the age of 16 years old may establish borrowing privileges only if a parent or guardian completes the application.

Mansfield University is a community in the best sense of the word. We look out for each other. We push ourselves to dream big. We work hard to achieve success. We care. Mansfield welcomed its first student in 1857 – and to this day, the University continues to seek and serve students with big dreams for their futures.
