| You can place a link to your e-reserves in your BlackBoard
course. Students both on and off campus will be able to access these readings
without having to enter their library barcode/18-digit number. Here is
how you you can place links into BlackBoard.
- Locate your e-reserve in PILOT. (If you need help using
the e-reserve system, please see the Guide
to Accessing E-reserves.) You want to be at the screen where
there is a link that says "Click here for article."
-
Right-click on the the link and select "Copy Shortcut".
- Log into your BlackBoard course as an instructor.
- In the Control Panel, in an area where you want the link, select the
option to add an external link.
- Enter the name you want displayed, and paste the information you copied
in step 2 into the URL textbox. The URL will look something like this:
http://ereserves.mansfield.edu/ereserve.php?filename=burns_ed5531_05.pdf
- Submit your changes.
Now, your e-reserve will be linked in your course.
