| In addition to books and journals, North Hall Library also collects a variety of media items including audio, visual, and non-print materials. Eligibility Media materials and equipment may be checked out to the following individuals, with a valid ID:

Library use only Material & Equipment Location CD's are located in the Music Library on 1st floor South of North Hall. DVD's and Videos are located in the Curriculum Library on 1st floor North of North Hall Laptops, standardized tests, headphones, and listening/viewing room or study room keys are available at the Circulation Desk. Records, VCRs, kits, realia, models, and transparencies can only be retrieved for you by library employees. To request these items, bring the title, call number, and location/item type to the Information Desk. Return these items to the Circulation Desk when you’ve finished using them. Viewing Audiovisual Materials There are four listening/viewing rooms where students can play records, CD's, cassette tapes, videos or DVD's. The rooms are located on the first floor of North Hall in the Music Library. Keys for these rooms are available at the Circulation Desk. In addition, the library has CD players available in the study carrels in the Music Library. Headphones for these are available at the Circulation Desk. Groups of up to 20 people may view videos, DVDs, and other presentations in the theater-style Screening Room. Faculty may call (570) 662-4872 to reserve the Screening Room. Students can reserve the Screening Room by contacting the Information Desk (570) 662-4671. Pictures Individual pictures, and sets of pictures are available for students to use as visual aids for student teaching or presentations. You can search for pictures by subject in PILOT and the Teaching Materials Guide. Both study pictures, the sets, and picture file, individual pictures, are located on the 1st Floor, North, but they must be checked out at the Circulation Desk.
